I am looking for links to Google Earch maps and overlays regarding hiking trails, Forestry roads, ghost towns, mine data, minerals (non mine related), railroads, etc.. I should be posting later the overlay links for Minedata, Forest fire data, etc. Figure this would help in planning prospecting and metal detecting for some of us out there.

Hi! I'm a gold prospector myself in Central Arizona. I'm sure you already know about Orthos mapping, but check these out! http://minerdiggins.com/ I did a review of Footprints for Lost Treasure Magazine. Pretty cool stuff. Geology, hydro - has it all!
