need suggestions on cleaning crusty coins found at the beach

I believe that there are detailed instructions in the shipwreck and other forums regarding cleaning coins with electrolysis...its not expensive and works quite well. :headbang:

Randy, those shipwreck salvor high tech ways would be for old and valuable coins. Perhaps what was meant here was common clad, etc... If it's just common stuff,a lapidary tumbler will do.

thanks for the input, just common clad found at the beach needs cleaned up to cash it in and check the dates
