I Want To Upgrade My Metal Detector

I currently use a Fisher Edge II and have had a lot of fun using it over the past 18 months. I want to upgrade to a Mid-Level MD and I plan to use it mostly along the beaches of Florida. I'm looking to keep the cost at about $500 to $600. Any suggestions from those of you who have been doing this a lot longer than I?

Cherokee,The Whites M-6 is a well kept secret for sure! Don't balk at it,it is quite a machine WITHOUT all the bells and whistles,quite a coil selection also.A tad more than 600.00. God Bless HH Chris

AT Pro would be another consideration. Since you beach hunt..... it cant get all sorts of wet.... and mine ran pretty darn stable for a single frequency machine on the wet part of the beach.

Tesoro Silver uMax all the way. I don't know how it does at a beach, but it's an amazing detector.
