A friend of mine owed me some money from England so she sent me these I received them today :laughing9: unknown to me my bank will exchange them for USD if i have a account with them which i do . Kind of nice looking money maybe ill just keep them , next Oct. i will be going to England to MD for a few weeks and be staying at a relatives house in Cornwall . :hello2: Jim hh

Looks like Canadian money....... Not much difference in the looks of Canada & UK money......But the Queen does look older in Canada..

Its not wise to hold on to British notes as they do change the design every so often when forgery starts to get endemic. There's a change in the coinage coming up in the new year. I think its been suggested that some cupro-nickel coins are going to be produced in steel.
