Seems to me everytime we are due for a "Spring Ahead"
or "Fall Back" in our Time zone, My Sleeping habits Change
before this Happens.

I don't know if it's Conditioning from doing this all these years, or
the Weather.

in the Spring I started Going to bed Earlier & Waking up Earlier.

Lately, I have been staying up Later & Waking up later.
if the Clocks had just changed, I'd blame it on that, But I'm ahead of Schedule :P

When do we "Fall Back" ?

I think it's just the spring forward ,fall back thing.I find myself going to bed later and waking up a little later this time of year right before we fall back and the same thing happens in the spring only then I fall asleep earlier and wake up a little earlier until we spring forward, after the time change i'm about back to normal,if that's possible! So it can't be the weather, cause that stays the same all year down here. ;D

Man oh man....it's not my clock that's changed, it's my appetite. I could eat a horse now that the weather has gotten cold.

The horse in the pasture down the road is looking pretty yummy. ;) :P

i've been (literally) laying around at home the last two weeks recovering from eye surgery. Between that and the vicodin they gave me my sleep pattern is all messed up, but usually I start going to bed earlier at around this time of year when it starts getting dark earlier (which it does at around 7pm now).

Never noticed any changes in sleeping etc with time changes, but then again having went to over 52 countries around the world and spent many years overseas perhaps my body is used to time changes...etc.

Now the one thing I do feel is pain in the joints. From lots of muscle and joint damage. I can feel those pressure changes and cold weather cranking on the joints.

I have had a lot of people tell me that daylight savings time messes up thier sleep if this helps toward an answer for your question.

I hate day light saving time, twice a year I have to reset all the clocks, that takes about 2 days to do that! Back in my "younger days" when I was in the service,in some instances,I got back to the states a day before I left. Now that's a mind blower !!

What do you Say we Change the way we Tell time.

Set Every Clock to 12:00

Take out the Batteries, Disable the Springs, etc.

If it's Light. it's 12 Noon

If it's Dark it's 12 Midnight.

We can go to work at 12, take a Break at 12 Go home at 12.

and Don't have to worry about time ;) or setting the Clocks :D

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My body and sleep patterns are never affected by the time changes. My body only requires 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night and I wake up rested and ready to go. I just go with the flow. I love Daylight Savings Time because it gives me extra daylight for treasure hunting and doing other things outside.
