This is why I never throw any thing out before I check what it could be. I have been going threw some of my finds from several years back, I have several plastic bags with coins and buttons. This button I have had for along time and I did not know I had this Royal artillery button, it is a cuff, the other larger one beside it is the one I was given a couple of weeks back. I have a feeling that they came from the same site, my friend found his three years back, we hunt the same location. This site was a trading post and it was used in 1812 for the British and American troops, the two buttons have come back together after all these years.HH
