Last I heard, he was having problems with his detector turning itself off automatically. I sure hope he got it repaired and is back out there hunting. I miss his posts too.

We had a guy in my town that used to detect, I haven't seen him in a while either, I was hoping to bump into him if for nothing else than a few pointers. I think it's a natural tendency for people to worry about alterations in their environment.
