looking around in Haiti

I'm doing some looking around in Haiti. I know it was once a very hot spot for all kinds of trading. I'm checking out a bay that was supposedly full of activity and a lot of fighting. I've got a boat and some people to help me out. For starters I'm bringing a couple of underwater magnets. also I'm looking into underwater cameras on long cables to get a look at the bottom. I know absolutely nothing about where to begin. I only know I'm going to give it a shot and photograph the attempt- There are above ground spots I'm going to check out with a metal detector too. any responses or advice would be great.

You might be better off asking in the Shipwreck section of the forum. Somebody will be able to help you out.

Haiti? I didnt know anyone went to Haiti. You are right though there is a lot of history down there and very few treasure hunters to compete with. I was over in the DR last winter had a lovely time, really nice folks,if you get a chance give them a shot.
