Re: Stolen Detector
Got a serial number? It's pretty hard to prove someone is trying to sell YOUR detector if you can't prove you owned it. Serials won't guaruntee a return but it gives a little better chance.
It sucks that you lost your gear, hopefully you can get it back.

Re: Stolen Detector
Sorry to hear that your detector was stolen. Check craigslist in your area and surrounding area's, you never know, you might be able to get it back and get to knuckle him up at the same time. Good Luck!..........Scott.

Re: Stolen Detector
I'd be sick just the thought, I've left mine out in the garage a few times not a good habit.
I hate to discriminate but some times you have too!

Re: Stolen Detector
Put an ad in the paper wanting to buy one just like yours and see what shows up, maybe. Bad deal and sorry it happened. We have thieves up here who scout the trailhead parking areas. Don't never leave nothin in the vehicle you prefer to keep; they can be in and gone in seconds.
This world is not my home.

Re: Stolen Detector
Hi tntctrm; Also make sure you Report it to the Police. You'd be amazed. They actually recovered my friends V3i 3 1/2 weeks later. The guy was charged with Grand Theft, B&E, Possesion of Stolen Property over $100. The guy got 18 months. My friend got his Equipment back ok. Best Wishes.
PEACE: RONB
PS : These guys have a strong tendency to stay local if they try to use it because they are trying to impress someone they are trying to sell it to ok. RB
