I thought it would be of interest to remind everyone that the Civil War began exactly 151 years ago today.

The bloodiest four years in American history begin when Confederate shore batteries under General P.G.T. Beauregard open fire on Union-held Fort Sumter in South Carolina's Charleston Bay.

I think this also lead both sides to believe there would be little loss of life going forward, as no one was killed during this first engagement.. Now that alone makes you think, bad shots :icon_scratch: :dontknow:
