The only info I have is on the Yocum Gang. The Yocum Inn was W. of Beaumont, Tx.,on Pine Island, which was 2 mi. N. of the Town of Pine
Island, now called Westbury! They think there are caches buried on Cotton & Byrd Creeks.
Then there is John Murel (or Murrell, or Murrel)Gang, Whose mostly Fictional exploits have been exaggerated for generations. Rumors of Caches buried on Honey Island, St. Tammany Parish, La. have not been verified. ???

That's all I have! Good Luck!

Are you still around?

I live near the neutral zone. Does any one Know any names of the outlaws that operated or hid out here? If so what were some of their methods of hiding there caches. Thanks Roger R.

I've seen some of your posts but none lately. Are you still around? I'm very familiar with the Neutral Zone and am working on a book on it right now.
