Has anyone ever had any luck searching small creeks with metal detectors for relics. where I live had moderate traffic during the civil war and I know the troops camped near creeks. there are four creeks 5 to 15 feet wide and not very deep close to home. Just wondering if anybody has ever tried this. I know that old town dumps where also next to rivers and a good place to find old bottles.
