Ok coin experts how about some opinions? NGC isnt very consisitent on 1795 coins!

I kinda feel like I got the shaft. They put improperly cleaned on my coin with AU details ( I didnt clean it, it's dug coin but didnt tell them). Ok I'll give them that but look at this one up for auction right now. They graded it AU58 but the things got scratches all over it! Mine looks much better and the coin dealer is asking a hefty price for it too. Anybody got any opinions? To me looks like NGC isnt very consisient or there's something rotten in Denmark? Here's the link to the coin for sale at the moment. Iv'e included mine too. I'm not blind am I? that high dollar coin looks way worse than mine! ?? The link to view the other coin is right here,so check it out and see what you think.

Not sure about yours, but I have a hard time believing the coin in the ebay link is AU58. And it definitely looks cleaned. From what I can see yours does look better.

Yeah, I am not a big fan of slabbing. I agree with the grading on yours, but I have no idea how the ebay coin could have graded AU.

I really dont have an opinion either way because you would have gotten improperly cleaned or environmental damage tag. Yes some TPG are off on there grading somedays. I bought a MS-65 Jefferson Nickel, and when I got it back it would be luck to grade AU.

What got me thinking on this thread is what tag would I rather have? I think the environmental damage is the one for me. That just shows I dug it. Both grades will be a drop in value.
