Today while I was out metal detecting I found this on the ground. I always find barbed wire though. But this piece is different than any I have ever seen. And I know some types can be really old. I was hoping you guys would be able to help me Identify it. Its about a foot and a half long. Only with two barbs on it. They are 6 and 1/4 inches apart. Any help would be great! :) Picture 14.jpg Picture 16.jpg Picture 15.jpg

No clue here but I do know there is a gang of different styles of barbed wire out there.I seen a big display of all kinds of barbed wire used in the US over the years when I was a kid. There must have been 30 different styles just on that display and was told there was many more that has been out of production for many years.
Good luck.................................................
