Great find....Love to dig old locks. That is a hardcore piece of history. I guess every hunter has their own favorites but to me old pockt watches, locks etc are as rewarding as finding coins. It has definately seen some use. May not be worth lots of money but sure is a neat piece of history. I am just guessing but I would say at least 100 years old. Some of the other cast members in this action packed adventure may be able to tell ya more.

Most people on here will think that is a great find...someone on here should be able to give you an aproximate age on the lock.

That IS a nice find. That lock looks to be about 100 years old or so. Padlocks are always a nice find. I prefer, however, to find mine attatched to strong boxes filled with gold coins!

I agree with Bruce... but.... I'll settle for a lock like that. Nice. TTC
