Need help decidied which detector to buy

Hi All,

I live in south Florida (Boca Raton) and recently got into metal detecting. I got a Bounty Hunter Lone Star from Bass Pros Outdoor World.

This is what i want to accomplish, detecting on the beach and in the water up to say 5' deep.

What detector do you recommend for the salt water and my budget is around $700 - 800?

Any help greatly appreciated.

If you do a search there is at least 50-100 posts on it..

Do you want new or used

Do you want pi or vlf

Do you want to dig tiny pieces of iron or not

Need to know before we can really answer....
