I am by no means a coin "collector". I am just a collector. I like to dig and anything that ignites my fancy is coming out of the ground. Hell, I thought my first SLQ was a walker cuz she was standing up straight with her feet apart like she was 'about' to walk. Oh well, live and learn, right? Just diggin...

Anyhoo, these are a few of the coins I have "acquired" and leider not by digging :'(. I think they are really neat just because they are kinda old. I also realize that most coins are not "valuable" in a large denominational sense. At any rate I think these are neat and was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on where they come from. I could look them up myself, and one I have, but I think it would be more fun for others to get to see them and add their input. Thanks for looking!

Don't feel bad, I love hitting up E-bay from time to time. I got my first morgan there, it's an 1884 o, with gorgeous toning. I paid $18 WITH shipping, ends up that it lists out at about 2-300 dollars because of the color. After all, it's called treasure hunting, not digging.

Don't get me wrong I will POOP the first time I DIG a morgan...... ;D

I just love old foreign coins especially silver ones,so I really like the french silver 10 centimes,I believe they are .80,also like the Panama coin I cant make out what the denomination is,if its a nickel size then it isnt silver but if its quarter sized is is silver .900,minted here in the US BTW,their coins and denominations were minted exactly as ours with same metal content and the silver in common coinage was halted after 64' just like ours,...HH
