Well I know it had to happen sooner of later.I had hoped it wasn't going to get as bad as they had predicted.Started with lots of rain, then freezing rain.It stopped for awhile and now we're getting sleet again-yuck!We are suspose to get a bunch of snow on top of all this.As long as we don't lose power I'll be entertained by all you guys and your stories. You all take care~DM

That picture even looks COLD!

I saw on TV massive snow storms out in the North Western part of the U.S. I'm not looking forward to winter - or the high heating bills that come with it.

Stay warm.....and happy reading!

DigMo,I feel for you.I know it's comming, but still dread it.Here it is almost December, and we have had weather in the 60's and low 70's I enjoy it,but when it does hit,it will be just that much more worse. I get shivers just thinking about it.

Lotza snow up this way but had a positive idea today. Took a little walk and drive around the area and noticed alot of events being planned for Dec. Snow cat races, christmas lighting, ice skating parties, etc. Gonna make some notes and see how much clad and jewelry gets dropped in the snow by the crowds and is lying there this spring. May could relate it to events of say 50 years ago and upload some snow lost rosies. Small frozen ponds and sledding hills maybe????

I can't believe that yesterday the temp was 70 and tonight we have 4" of sleet and by morning the temp will be 17, with 6" of snow on top of the sleet.
My new CW camp, found last week will be froze up until April.

Gray, windy, and cold, here in Tennessee. No snow, though.

Just spoke with my Mom, in Illinois............9" of snow on top of 6" (?) of sleet.......... >:( >:( >:(. She's snowed in for a couple of days........

Just thought I'd share some more good news :D :D.
