Started buying Vaseline/Canary glass & Green Depression glass (all of which is uranium glass) at local auctions. This stuff is wild, like black light posters for adults!
I have my pieces in a glass front cabinet with a black light above the pieces. Everyone who sees it is intrigued by the awesome green glow the pieces emit! I took a broken piece & smashed part of it up & filled a green depression glass salt shaker with the pieces (it looks very cool under black light)!
I also have a neat teal depression glass ashtray that also glows kinda blueish & I'm aware other colors do or can glow depending on the additives used to make the specific color but any color that contains uranium will definitely glow. I know some green Indiana glass will glow too but haven't checked into this much as of yet.
Anyone else on here collect any type of uranium glass? Or even other types pf glass that glows under black or uv light?
