The GPAA show is an opportunity to look at and compare prospecting equipment, metal detectors, book sellers and all kinds of
equipment from flashlights to knives and associated stuff. Do you need any of that stuff, do you want to talk to other prospectors,
do you need to get away from home for a few hours? I have driven 3 hours to attend and had fun, bought a few books that I
didn't have and saw a few friends.

The GPAA Gold Show is in Dayton, Ohio this weekend. I'm about 3.5 hours away in Charleston, WV. Just wondering if anyone has been and is it worth it?

did your get there ? did you enjoy it ?

I've been to 3 or 4, always attended both days beginning to end.
those I've gone with don't think spending both days there was enjoyable as they felt there wasn't enough to do,

but I can't wait for another one

I've been to a couple, they are enjoyable.

The last time I went, some guy went off on Perry Massie. He was upset because when he was on the Alaska trip with the GPAA, he wasn't allowed to pick his own spot on the beach. I guess they pick a spot for you whether you like it or not.

He looked a little nutty to start with.
