Just curious do any of you out there ,save/hoad:laughing their 1982& before brass Lincoln cents along/w their wheat's ? As I do; just heard it still costs more than a penny to make one [those fragile cu/plated zinc one's]. It seems iv'e been seeing less brass lately & the U.S. Mint seems to my eyes [shook the earth] pounding out 2012 cents last yr. If I were a coin roll hunter [it would sound like a savings plan keeping all the brass & wheat] W/20/20 hindsight I should have been roll hunting back in the early 1990s On those trips to Vegas ;checking roll after roll of 1/2 dollars & dimes even 1/4s; but that was when slots still took coins
