I'm not new to metal detecting, I've been doing it for years. What has happened however is that I've recently moved to Ocala, FL. When I used to live in El Paso I would at least find clad anywhere I went. Here I've tried the parks and theres obviously not any beaches here but all I'm finding is pull tab after pull tab! I'm not sure if its due to all the drunks hanging out at the parks or its just me but I need help. Is anyone familiar with this area that can give some suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Watch people.

Watch what they do, and where they are at. Where are the people conducting the kind of activity that would deposit what you are looking after. Where do they gather? Churches? Outdoor concerts? Mud-Boggin? Carnivals?

Find the where the crowds hang out, and you will find the loot.

Go to the city's historic records. Do some research. Find the old settlements, hunt there.

If it was easy, it would have already been found.

Good luck!
