Being though I'm a pool builder in the Midwest, and this NEVER ENDING winter, It is getting away from the wife and she is in agreement. Though I will soon be complained to how I am not home enough when I return to working six day weeks!

the best part of detecting for me is the antisipation,and the after hunt beer with my buddy.We live in an area where we seem to be the ONLY detectorists,and I recruited and trained him.7000ft elev.old mining and logging,current ski tourists(god bless the sledders too).I think I would go nuts if I couldnt hunt.

to me the best part in detecting is finding something cool. whether it's a coin from a different country, or a relic, or a ring.. whatever it is - fun fun fun!
also, turning off the cell phone. that's my only excuse not to use it! otherwise I'm stuck with it :P
