I have been researching Oklahoma ghost towns. WHen I save up and get a better detector, I want to hit some older places. I have already contacted the historical society of the little town I live in. I asked them where old house sites used to be, ect. All they wanted to know was if I found something interesting if they could put it in their museum. That should buy me some goodwill and allow me to detect more places around here. Once the ice melts, I will let you guys know how it goes.
