LOL ! Come to think of it , back in 7th grade ( long time ago ) I took baby snakes to school and sold them for $5.00 a piece . I would just carry them in my pocket all day until I had a buyer . Of course this is also around the time I figured out what girls were all about . Carrying snakes in your pockets and meeting young laies just did'nt go together to well ....:dontknow:..... The girls eventually won out ......:laughing7:

And the girls said "Is that a snake in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me? "

When I lived in the South (USA) I was told of two really unusual snakes there. The hoop snake that can put it's tale in ti's mouth and chase you like a wheel.
And the joint snake that no matter how small you cut it up it grows back together and gets you.
Scarey Huh?

At least you didn't walk up on one like this. Came across him Saturday morning while searching for the site of an old church.

My snake is an eastern diamondback rattlesnake. But I think Coileygirl's is an inflatable for scaring birds out of the garden.

God's least favorite animal.. the snake.

"So the LORD God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life." Genesis 3:14

If it's non-poisonous, I'll let it go.

It was a good idea to get that shot Joe, I am no snake expert but have owned a few and always loved handling them when I get a chance also my first wife was a snake handler at silver springs in Ocala Florida so I was around snakes a good bit most my life. Even though the snake was not venomous most of them have bacteria in their mouths and it can cause a infection, which is still usually not that bad but can effect different people in different ways. So always better to be safe than sorry .
