Forecast for 10-22" of snow tonight and tomorrow in my area. The "good" news is that sleet and freezing rain might reduce the snow accumulation amount. Yippee-skippee... ::)

Stay warm and safe.

I don't know if my reply made it through (due to the snow and all) but all I can say is Matilda is not happy here in Arlington Heights, IL.

Completely uncharacteristic for my part of the country but this is what my house looked like about 3 weeks ago. Monty

Here in East Texas it is 37 degrees (and no snow). So I guess it's a heat-wave compared to Northern states! I'll take Texas! You guys and gals hang in there and be careful out on the roads.

Temperatures here have been running anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees below daily norms for the last two months. It was 14 above here this morning but luckily the snow missed us, went north and is now in New York and the eastern seaboard. Usually we have several days in the 70s and one day last February it got up to 80 somethng and set a new record. Needless to say it has cut into my detecting a lot. Oh, I could wrap up with all my cold weather hunting clothes and go but the wind is blowing the wind chill down into the minus digits. Good way to get frostbitten not being use to the cold and all. Dang global warming! >:( Monty

Nine degrees this morning, (Thr. 15th) and a dusting of snow! MB

Ya but I'd have to find a way out of the house first and then I would have to hunt for the road. ;D ;D

Global warming?
Global Warming means extremes in temperature both warm and cold. As some get warmer, others get colder, some get more rain, others less, etc. Ocean temperatures change, affecting land temps. Its very complicated. They predict extreme weather changes. Summers hotter, Winters colder. Before you jump on me let me clarify that I do not know if Global Warming is true or not. ;D
