What he said. I'd police up after myself and scour the litter and leave that place spotless when I was done each visit. This might be a case where you want to tip the plug onto a plastic sheet so you can re-fill the hole without leaving dirt to dry out above the grass. That LOOKS like a spot of dead grass until it can settle back down. Be patient and you will likely find something(s) that will keep the rest of us drooling.
