The dark area in the lower center behind the branch- entrance to a cave/tunnel?

Possibly but if it is, it's a certain deathtrap, unless one has the means to pull all of them uphill
boulders up & away, & place them in an area where they can't possibly move when one digs for
the goodies, if there are actually even any there. But you're right, the indications of something.
