The more I tell you the less you believe.

Lets just leave it at "very special".
Ahh but there's the rub. You haven't told us anything. All you've done is post extremely vague rumors about an impossible scenario and solicit investors to assist you in committing a crime. Now you're clearly getting angry that you have no "bites". And you haven't even got the sense to consider that even if 1% of this has any merit you've just posted enough info to land yourself and any "partners" in prison is something did turn up ? Carry on.. This is a hoot. So this "investment"... should we leave it in a paper bag in the trash can next to the local library on Tuesday at noon so even the investors don't know who you are ? LMAO... You should be writing Hardy Boys mysteries, not trying to run a scam on a treasure forum. That might actually put a few bucks in your pocket.

So now you're telling people to "shut up" ? Seriously ? My comments were all in fun but here's some real world advice. That kind of stuff is against the rules here. While for whatever reason, trying to scam people seems to be allowed, that kind of behavior will cause a moderator to show you to the door. For the record it's my humble opinion that anyone who advocates stealing for ANY REASON is a thief. You even go on to explain how you might dispose of the stolen goods in this latest response.. Why would any sane person on here want to go into a partnership with an admitted thief ? It's not much different than being a liar yet you insist you've told nothing but the truth. Yeah.. OK

Look I'll make it simple. What you're saying is this... "I'm not opposed to stealing priceless historical treasures and parting them out for scrap... but I promise not to steal from my partners and I would NEVER lie"... Are you intelligent enough to realize how freakin ridiculous this all sounds ? Just fade away man... You've burned up your 15 minutes of fame..

Would any of you really do any less or expect less?

I put hundreds of hours into this studying this info of this freaky ass map.

I've known about it for over 3 years now.

Why wouldn't I want to be paid?

If you find gold during your metal detector discoveries, you want paid don't you?

I know my find is bigger but why wouldn't the expected payment not be bigger?

My situation is tedious I know at best.

What would you really do?
Like I said earlier.. sell the map.. avoid jail. Simple really

Just like every past scam artist to pass through here, they talk and talk and talk without every saying anything, then they get angry when their scam is exposed. Go away before the FBI tracks your IP and arrests you for conspiracy.

I guess your right in a sense I'm not opposed to stealing something from someone that was my ancestor. Who hid something special, that she didn't know about that can change world events.

Want the rest of the truth there peep?

I don't want the dam diary at all. Don't give a hoot about it.

It's the dagger. Truthfully I want to re-hide it before it's accidentally found. But I will remove it's jewels before doing so. You can call that my payment (don't care). I just don't want that dagger to get back in anyones hands and thats being truthful. Bet your really confused now.

Abe wasn't a vampire slayer he didn't own a dagger dipped in vampire blood that kills vampires. John isn't a vampire nor was he ever a vampire. He didn't kill Abe because Abe wanted to kill him because he was a vampire. Blah did I say its not a vampire dagger if so its not a regulated vampire dagger.

Got me thinking at 6ft under the ground. Hmm how do I explain it. The pressure of being 6ft under ground would crush the clay jay meaning diary pages would decay. Caskets can hardly take the pressure of the soil so a jar would be broken.

I've been a treasure hunter for 44 years, and over these years, I've heard some realy doozies. This one takes the cake. I despise greed in any fashion. Greed will get you nowhere fast. Also, there is NEVER any justifacation on the destruction of historical artifacts! I have worked with the archaeologists for decades, and you are the type of person that gives the rest of us a very bad name. You will never find what you seek, and I thank GOD for that! I know that this post may be removed for what I say, but you are (for lack of a better work) an idiot! You come here with this outlandish story, trying to get people to invest THEIR money for your sole benefit, then you openly admit your intention of destroying a historical artifact, all for the sake of greed! How dare you!!!!! I don't believe anything about your story, but if it were true, I pray that you never find it!

Mods and Admins, before removing this post of mine, just think of the context in which it was posted. Do you want members of this type being on this site? A person that will give ALL OF US a bad name? To openly admit on having no respect for history? If this type of member is OK in your eyes, then maybe it should be me that is banned. After all, I would never want to be associated with a greedy jerk like this!

I agree completely. This entire thread should be a sticky titled "how NOT to behave"...
