First talk loot. How much for a 2nd detector are you willing to spend and for what type of detecting? You can't beat an ETrac for land detecting. But , if you are looking for a fast detector, try a Fisher F70. I got mine late this past Nov. It's hard to tame, but this thing goes deep! Pennies are commonly found at 7"+.
AT-Pro/Gold are rugged machines for fresh water lakes and streams, but are terrible on salt water beaches. If you will salt water hunt, try a Tesoro Shark model. They are a great bargain. Under $600.
