Interesting Old Book

I found a digital copy on Google Books of Alphabetical List of Battles 1754-1900. I downloaded a copy in pdf format, and it is quite interesting for armchair historians like myself. Of particular interest to metal detectorists who want a place to start research is a VERY extensive list of battles and skirmishes of the Civil War. Not a lot of information except state, location name and date of occurrence, but you might find a nearby skirmish site that has been forgotten or overlooked by researchers. The remainder of the book deals with the Spanish American War, and various items of interest to amateur military historians.
