Funny when this thread started you had a Minelab SGT, had only been detecting with for two years and considered buying a AT Pro. Now you have a arsenal of metal detectors? :laughing7:

I can always use a laborer. Do you need a job?

LOL, mostly for digging right now, But I have a project coming up, scraping, filling......

Is my admittedly poor understanding of spanish wrong, or doesn't "el padron" translate to something like the boss?

El Patron is boss.

El Padron is census or register of inhabitants. Or in some instances a Stallion.

LOL.....
Investigation by unit three two ( EL PADRON) revealed that at the above time date and location Johnson was observed operating in an erratic manner.
A traffic stop was initiated and upon approach to the vehicle a moderate order of alcohol was detected.
Johnson was administered a field sobriety test which he failed to comply with and transported to the Provost Marshal's office for further processing.
Johnson was administered the Intoximeter 3000 blood alcohol test with blood alcohol level results 1.4.
Johnson was cited on DD form 1805 with a state of Kentucky rider for failure to operate in a careful manner and driving while intoxicated on a United States military installation.
Johnson was further processed, held in custody until 8 AM and released to his unit.
Sworn, El Padrone, Specialist four, HHC LEA. END OF STATEMENT

I can always use a laborer. Do you need a job?

I'm over qualified plus, I don't get out of my truck for less than $40.00 an hour.

I'm still waiting on that link for the cost of production of the Vette.

I'm still wondering how you live so extravagantly but consider a $2500 expensive. Isn't that mere pocket change?

Have a look at the three links I posted, detectors for $5,000 and $25,000... a $1000 detector isn't really expensive.

I make $42.00 bucks an hour, I have no problem buying a $1000.00 detector, I can't pay cash for a Vette, but if I could... I surely would not worry about the price of a decent metal detector.

You can belittle me all you like, however I backed up my statements... have you?

I doubt you could pay for my lunch... let alone my salary! From the start of this thread you have done nothing but belittle and insult those who disagree with you. Who made you the authority on metal detectors? Do you also have a doctorate in economics?

In ten months of posting you haven't relented... you also haven't provided anything more than opinion. This conversation has wavered from boundary to boundary, not once have you backed up any of your claims.

When confronted with absolute fact... you brush it off with arrogance and a belittling attitude towards those who confronted you with the truth.

My White's MXT Pro is not Chinese made junk. It's quality made in the USA, from metal, the shaft is carbon fiber, the screen is backlit and it's dead on with coins. I paid $700.00 and with that I get a lifetime of the best Customer Service available in any market.

White's has repaired items out of warranty free of charge, they have repaired detectors that were damaged due to the user, they have repaired detectors that are 20 years olds that have changed hands several times. Try that with a Vette... or a coffee maker!

And I'm still waiting on proof that it cost 50 grand to make a Vette, I looked it up and it said you were wrong! WWW dot Where's the link? :icon_scratch: :dontknow: ??? :laughing7:

GM Built some decent cars. Others did too till mid seventies. Now they're emission controlled,(though far from desired by forces trying to regulate them) computer monitarded air bagged wonders of nearly disposable technology. I worked the supply manufacturing side. Disposable is putting it politely. A former 76 GMC got 16 m.p.g. or around 8 with the four barrel suckin. 2008 3/4 ford running 12 in summer and under 9 with plow on and counterweight. I could set on the wheel well of the 76 and tweek it. Not getting under the hood of the newer models. Take it to the dealer instead and settle for ******ed efficiency for emissions sake. Cost of unwanted technology built in.

Yeah with all that bull you have been spreading around I bet you need a COUPLE of guys to do some digging... I have my waders on now and it's getting deeper by the minute! :laughing7:

Like I said... I doubt you could pay for my lunch... let alone my salary. Would you like to see a paystub?

I pay more in income tax in one week than you probably make in a month... but I heard you're getting a bumped up to fries next week...
