Why so much hatred of dogs?

Many dogs are curious by nature and if you are out in the places where folks run their dogs, you are bound to have a dog run at you or near you.

If you happen to live in a nanny state or one of the many quasi-socialist burgs where leash laws are in place, call the police (and be prepared to never detect at the school again as you may also be breaking the law) or you could simply learn one of the many effective techniques of dealing with man's best friend.

Humans are far more dangerous than dogs.

Standing there dialing a phone when a dog is coming at you isnt an option:laughing9:Especially if youre out in the woods.I see it as the dog or me,guess who's going to lose.Thats the way it is.Keep your dogs on a leash if theres a leash law

I was detecting in the woods, and I see a man with two hunting dogs (Off leash) (one big, one small), then the dogs see me and charge at me barking snarling, showing there teeth, they try to bite me a few times, but I jump out of they way, than I scream, "Put your dogs on a leash!''. He did not care, and continued casually walking and then when he made it close to me he said, "Come'ere boys".

I have had other experiences with dogs of leash, and most of the dogs that are off leash run over to me, and are as friendly as my dog, but every now and then I see a nasty dog.
