Subject: Oil – You Should Be Sitting Down When You Read This!

(Before It's News)
Subject: OIL – You should be sitting down when you read this!

Next time you have to fill up at $3.84/gallon, think of this!!

As you may know, Cruz Construction started a division in North Dakota
just 6 months ago. They sent every Kenworth (9 trucks) we had here in
Alaska to North Dakota, and several drivers. They just bought two new
Kenworths to add to that fleet; one being a Tri Drive
tractor and a new 65 ton lowboy to go with it. They also bought two new
cranes (one crawler and one rubber tired) for that division.

Dave Cruz said they have moved more rigs in the last 6 months in ND than
Cruz Construction moved in Alaska in the last 6 years.

Williston is like a gold rush town; they moved one of our 40-man camps
down there since there are no rooms available.

Unemployment in ND is the lowest in the nation at 3.4 percent last I
checked. See anything in the national news about how the oil industry
is fueling North Dakota’s economy?

Here’s an astonishing read. Important and verifiable information:
About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and
one of the Forbes Bros. was the guest. The Bakken is the largest
domestic oil discovery since Alaska’s Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential
to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy
Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels.
Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable (5 billion barrels), at $107
a barrel, we’re looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3
trillion.

“When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see
their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea..” says Terry Johnson, the
Montana Legislature’s financial analyst.
However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken’s
massive reserves, and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels.
And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will
cost
Americans just $16 PER BARREL !!!!!! That’s enough crude to fully fuel
the American economy for 2041 years straight.

And if THAT didn’t throw you on the floor, then this next one should -
because it’s from 2006 !!!!!!
U. S. Oil Discovery - Largest Reserve in the World
Stansberry Report Online – 4/20/2006
Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky
Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world.
It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush
mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices
none has been extracted.

With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore
drilling? They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our
borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth.

Here are the official estimates:

8 times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
18 times as much oil as Iraq
21 times as much oil as Kuwait
22 times as much oil as Iran
500 times as much oil as Yemen,
and it’s all right here in the Western United States!!

HOW can this BE?
HOW can we NOT BE extracting this?
Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to
help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a
small group of people dictate our lives and our economy. WHY?

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we’ve got more oil in
this very compact area than the entire Middle East, more than 2
TRILLION barrels untapped. That’s more than all the proven oil reserves
of crude oil in
the world today, reports The Denver Post. Don’t think ‘OPEC’ will drop
its price even with this find? Think again! It’s all about the
competitive marketplace, it has to. Think OPEC just might be funding
the environmentalists?
Got your attention yet? Now, while you’re thinking about it, do this:
Pass this along. If you don’t take a little time to do this, then you
should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices.
By doing NOTHING, you forfeit your right to complain.

Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you
sent this to everyone in your address book.
By the way, this can be verified. Check it out at the link below !!!!!!

That's mind blowing! Amazing the games they play. So we probably wouldn't be in such a financial mess if that oil field had been developed. We're being brought down from the inside.

I'm all for tapping our own energy sources to the max... But can ANYONE imagine the world turmoil that would erupt if the U.S. STOPPED buying oil from overseas. And even if the Arabs lowered their prices to make it easier to buy theirs instead of tapping ours... the economy's in those areas would start to collapse and WAR would rage when it trickled down after a few months and years.

I say DRILL, DRILL, DRILL.... and set it all up to tap at any given moment. And if "they" lower their prices let's buy theirs and life will go on here. But don't just sit on ours... have it ready to tap ASAP.

EDIT: But the folks who have billions, millions, 100's of thousands, 10's of thousands or the little guy with a few thousand invested in oversea oil stock they'd all take a hit but I'd hope they'd re-invest in America. I know I'm treading on thin ground here politically... but if "we... the U.S." would lower corporate tax rates and broaden employment to raise the tax revenue EVERYBODY would be better off across this country. We may live in a "Global Market" but NOW it should be in the best interest of us if we can control it. And us means the United States of America. I'm done.... sorry.

Great and interesting post Red James cash! Will do! By the way, since gas prices are so outrageous, I've cut way back on driving unnecessarily and on my 2005 Pickup truck, I only have 9000 miles on it! That's 9000 miles in 9 years!

When I was logging a few years ago in northern PA, we did alot of clearing for the pipe lines. I got to talking with someone of the foreman and they told me they hit an unreal amount of oil in southern new York and northern Pa, that no one knew was there.

Its rediculous that were still getting from over seas when we have so much of it on our own soil. Everyone can thank all the tree hugging hippies we have in this country.

It should be clear that those truly in power do not wish the USSA to thrive and why they created situations where our jobs were shipped overseas, no new refineries built in decades, and they refuse to allow us to drill and become energy independent…….not to mention the refusal to secure our southern border, etc, etc

Outstanding thread RJC! I had no idea.
Oil is currently a huge concern. I hope alternative energy will also hit the mainstream. I've been reading alot about "cold fusion" lately and it's huge potential. Not much about it in the news though. Seems we still only know what "big bro" wants us to?
Peace

Bakken formation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

tl;dr version - there are nowhere near 500 billion barrels of oil in the Bakken, and they're currently drilling and pumping out what's there like crazy. To make matters worse, most of what's there cannot be extracted with current technology.

I'm still wondering about how we can generate electric for all the electric cars. Did we not a few years back have rolling brown outs because of system overloads? Are we being taken in?

The collider in Switzerland(?) do I really "trust" them to not implode the planet and entire universe? No!

The perfect energy source will be multi and diverse! We need less control from the greedy.
There have been so many good workable ideas that will never see the light of day because they interfere will the money flow of the rich & powerful. A real shame.
