Ok enough with the interpersonal arguing. Where is The OP now and did he get the part he paid for? I have seen many items on Ebay that use factory pics to show the item. Not sure why they don't actually show the item they are selling, But you really do see that kinda thing when they have multiple items to sell. Just cut and paste over and over, it is not the real part, but is supposed to represent the real part.
I hope it all works out for both sides, and I hope the rest of you guys or gals can kiss and make up. Life is too short for such minor issues.

With ebay, if you are selling a new item, it is supposed to be in a sealed original packaging. If you unseal it, technically it becomes a new other by ebay definition. I know most people don't care and open a sealed box to take a pic and then post. So to avoid this many sellers just use a downloaded pic. After all, if it is new then that can be sufficient. For used, different story, then it should be an actual photo.

I sell a ton of stuff on ebay and try hard to satisfy the buyer. The MOST important thing I do is ship either the same day or the next business day. Because I know the reason the buyer bought it, is because he wants it and wants it fast. That's the way the transactions happen these days, people want the online buying experience, but want the brick and mortar delivery time!

Having said that, ebay does not require sellers to ship immediately. I post that I will ship within three business days, in case I am on the road and cannot ship sooner. So that needs to be considered as well. If the buyer is in a super rush, then the seller should be made aware of that fact, and the buyer should pay for expedited shipping.

Whos arguing? ...they are just discussing...they don't need to kiss and make up, they haven't done anything to make up over...if everybody agreed on everything, it would be pretty boring and you wouldn't have an interesting thread like this to read.

Then we need to find out if is scamming people on Ebay!
Check out the PayPal transaction...it might show A "shipped from address" under order details.
