I found an old car battery that had been taken apart and the grates were pure silver nothing an old torch couldn't handle I made 270$ off of silver from it and you could too remember those heavy grates or slats that you brushed off as an old car battery could be worth some real cash
Whatchu talking about Willis?

I just want to know the scrap dealer that pays $270 for any battery. Old or new! And a torch has been mentioned?! No way...
Peace

I forgot I wrote this post and I have no idea why I didn't include a picture... FB_IMG_1470863089263.jpg by the way if it has been buried for 100+ years I'm pretty sure it's safe to handle and I sold it to a gold buyer thanks

Melt silver with a torch?? I know you can melt lead with a torch but silver? Pure silver melts at a temperature of 1,761 degrees F.

I think someone is inhaling way too many lead fumes.

You would have also had to have over 15 troy ounces to get that much.

You sold it to a gold buyer? Interesting. Maybe your gold buyer had a kid working for him and the kid didn't know that lead and silver are two different metals
