It is amazingly still green here in the rally town of Sturgis. I think the weather is not like it used to be. I guess we will just have to take what we are given.

Finally raining and raining and raining in Roseburg, OR. Been a long, hot, dry spell. Personally I hope it keeps up, this is western Oregon after all.
Rainfall totals for Brookings 3+ so far. I'm glad, our water has been undrinkable because of salt, Chetco has been low. Forecast is for rain through Saturday.

We've had a very wet Summer here in SW Virginia. I got my 1260X out and was hitting some areas I'd paid little attention to here at the farm.

And then it started raining again....

Supposedly, we're to get some rain starting late tonight through maybe Sunday. It's really dry here. 'Course we expect 'dry', we're high desert. About 3200 feet. Our normal moisture for a year is between 6 and 9 inches. Most of our moisture comes from the snow melt in the mountains. Gee, I miss watching the rain back in Texas!

3.49 inches officially in 24 hours. My weather station indicated 4.23". Our yearly average is 73.55". The Doppler radar showed rain towards Redding CA...they need it.

Raining here in Maryland, started last night, suppose to end this evening and have a great 3 day sunny weekend. Sheperdess you are in Sturgis, lucky you, its my dream trip, going to make it one year, I am 2000 miles away, but I will get there, lol. I have been to Daytona, Myrtle and Laconia Bike weeks, but never Sturgis yet.

I would like to see some rain here in Texas. Not so much for me. I mean, I have seen rain in my lifetime. But, for my daughter. You know, just saying.
