What's your 'Metal Detecting' bucket list?

Hi Tec Fellas,

I think everyone has a bucketlist when it comes to metal detecting finds!
I think it would be fun if yall posted your bucketlists here n see what others have on their lists..

i will start with mine n it will be mainly 'Relics' from both world wars, for we DutchDiggers!™ are true Relic hunters! :headbang:

ofcourse we dont hate coins n sh*t lol but it will be 'low' on our list! (exept for the 'gold' once o'course haha)

here we go (from 10 to 1)...

10 - Dutch square 5 cent ✔

9 - silver coin ✔

8 - spanish coin (dubloon / real)

7 - lead bale seal 18th century (with mint markings) ✔

6 - machinegun from WW2

5 - button from WW2 or WW1 ✔

4- a German soldiers helmet from WW2 (with bullet hole..)

3 - a WW2 or WW1 bajonet

2 - a BIG *SS golden nugget (damn...where's that checkmark now?! :laughing7:)

drumroll plz........

1- Nazi Officers Belt Buckle from WW2!!!

so far there's 4 checkmarks on my list..
pretty cool but really hoping to do some more checking in the near future!

i know these kinda lists are always adjusting n o'course..so is mine! lol
**this is my recent B-list made in january 2014!**

but just give us your (most recent) bucketlist with or without the checkmarks.

tnx tec-heads n i'm looking forward reading yours..

Here's a few that I'd like to find - (in no particular order) An Indian Head cent , a Standing Liberty quarter , a Seated Liberty (any denom.)
a large cent (preferably DB), Any U.S. Gold coin , a modest obsolete coin cache with some silver.

Found seated silvers, one gold ring, have found a gold nugget over 1# and many smaller. My bucket list is to hunt another 20 years and just find enough to keep me interested.

A Confederate button or buckle tops my list. In almost 40 years of hunting I have yet to find one!

Mine are impossible, I'd like to be turned loose on the Little Big Horn battlefield, also Gettysburg, Shiloh, Antietam, I mean I'm not asking for much, just the impossible. The number one bucket list item I'd like to find is a cannon. Believe it or not, I knew a guy (he passed away) that found a swivel gun in the Rouge River, and an early Spanish cannon barrel buried in a yard muzzle down, for the college kids to lock their bicycles to. He was given the barrel for making them a better rack for locking bikes. So it can be done, and you don't have to be a diver on wrecks to find the barrel, although that is probably a better chance of finding a cannon than any other way.
