Has anybody hunted around Indian campsite. I just learned that at my wife's Grandparents place where the apple orchard is, that is were Indians use to live. I was wondering what I may find and what have you discovered. Steve

mikesand is right. If you come across a bone, stop digging. There was a house torn down in my home town where an indian settlement was found to have been. The town had archies check the site. They found lots of pottery, mostly broken, tools, lots of animal bones, anything that would be used in a permanent location.
