The open road, those panoramic views, the sense of adventure that begins to flow in the blood. There's nothing quite like it, watching the landscapes slowly transform as you continue to creep closer to your destination. It's all just part of the great adventure.
If you're a road warrior like me then there is a fully stocked cooler positioned between the two front seats in your van, that tank of gas going from full to near empty with little pause, my eyes and thoughts quietly consumed and entertained by all of the mystery and sights.
And the destinations, those distant locations discovered through research and inquiry, the entire adventure beginning with but a single idea or notion or clue. Some of us are simply driven to explore and to discover, these things being the very essence of life itself. Truly fascinating.
