Will 'virgin" olive oil work as well as regular for cleaning copper coins?

I was just wondering because that is all I have on hand right now.I have always used diluted lemon juice to clean rough copper coins,I guess because I have always lacked the patience to wait. Now I want to try and take the olive oil soak approach to see if the results are any different or better.Any other tips on using it would be appreciated. Thanks! The oil has 20% olive oil?

DigIron2, I also haven't had patience with "olive oil soaks". Some folks have told me of soaking for more than a year?
Anything acidic seems to work.
Hopefully, Frankn and/or Coinman123 will answer your question in depth.

Peace ✌
