There was a old course now a large urban park in Toronto, finds were slim as it's so spread out. Some spots were a little more populated for finds but still there was long periods of nothing.

Cold these past few days again -28C yesterday when we got up and a high of -12c then throw a little windchill in the mix and that's it. Another foot of snow these past few days and it looks like the minus temps are here for another two weeks without any real signs of a + anywhere in sight.

Yes Thanks to you Canadians always sharing your weather.
pretty much the same here :(

This may be the case is Canada... where everthing back then was "sparse and spread out"...
Here in Florida... the near water courses is where I am pointing at.

It is my personal belief...
That Florida's coastal lands...
Hold more buried treasure...
than has ever been found.

Here in southern Mich,
Waiting on 6-8" today and another 6-8" of snow overnite, 20-30 mph winds and -20 chills, school closings.
Well stocked on firewood, food.
Bring it on...just bought an '02 Ski-doo MXZ 600! Haven't owned a sled since '80, my how things have changed!
This thing pulls a hole-shot that lasts forever and never comes back down until I hit the brakes - zowie!

In fact... with no further info...
I know of a golf course/location here in Fl... that I would bet holds... not one but up to 13 chests of valuables.
I have narrowed it down from years of research.
Have even walked over the suspected area(s)...
I thought of approaching owner years ago... he so damn loaded... he has 500 million + co. and is rarely in FL from what I understand.
Odds are... if I ask to backhoe his course... he would have me "removed" heh

This wouldn't be the dude that has a home(s) on AMI? I think if memory serves me right other main place of residence is NC and has a huge Corvette collection-like every model that has ever been produced?

After one of the beach renewal programs on AMI somebody was saying that there was a couple pieces of eight found, but I never did find any documentation to prove or declaim this interesting story. Though I had a long chat with the operator while the program was going on while staying at Lido Beach and he was telling me of the finds of the dredge, or what was found on the screens especially while they were doing the work off off Savannah Ga. The owner of the dredge has a museum quality collection of everything from cannon balls to Meg. teeth.

Way better than last winter, it was a hit and miss if we left home, we weren't sure if we'd be able to get back to the island.

Hey I have been thinking...
I would not want you guys to get rusty inside watching the snow fall... heh
SO... I think you should "practice".. heheh...
Like... I picture you guys just walking around your house with your detector off and pretend you hear a beep and bend over to pretend digging...
this way you will all be in shape when spring finally comes. :)
OH and for more exercise you can walk around in snow doing same...
HEY... just bring little orange flags and actually detect... just don't dig yet... then when spring hits... you can just dig... no detector. heh

P.S. please forward all obscenities to the office.
