Having an open mind is a beautiful thing. Saves some money too. I love my Deteknix and haven't had a problem. My old air falsing Garrett propointer is sitting in a drawer awaiting a proper burial.

Yeh i think ill wait on some reviews if it all checks out i will replace my pro pointer with it ....i still couldnt bring myself to sell my falsing old pro pointer even with all the problems it gives i wouldnt leave home without it

I hope that the The AT works better than the original.
I like mine but I sent it to Garrett last year for repair.. used it three times and the falsing was back... I sent back to Garrett 3 1/2 weeks ago.. I was quote $21.50 to fix it... (out of warranty) Garrett call 3 days ago and wanted $55 to fix it.. I told them to just send it back to me... I'll use it as a back up to my X-pointer.. I'll try the fix posted on youtube.. I hope it fixes mine as I really like my Pro-Pointer..
