somewhere between 3 & 5 in one day
I think that was in 1999/2000
First year with my Sovereign

tuff to remember exact numbers but I think I found 40ish that year

was a drained lake that had a swimming beach in the 30's thru 60's

bad thing Gold wasn't worth Squat compared to now, (about $250 an Ounce

)
so I got pennies for the ones I couldn't return

after a Quick scan of My Terrible records
(Binder with a million pages(not really but close)

it appears Best ring day may have been

4 Sterling
2 Junk
1 Plated

For the thousands of Finds I made,

I have no Doubt we barely touched it, Before it was Filled
and put off limits as a County owned Park, & fish Commission Run lake.

Yea I must say though the Few years it was drained & we were allowed in.
Everyone connected with the place Supported us 100%

a Friend & I were invited to set up at their On sight Clubhouse to show off our Finds
& they never once suggested the Slot Machines Etc, belonged to anyone else.
I believe most of the locals are still unaware the County added the no Detecting, No rock Hunting, No
arrowhead hunting etc. rule. I had tons of WW2 era religous Medals Too.
Not sure if they threw them in, or if everyone wore one.
may also have been Baptism related

I've hit a gold ring on a solid hit of 10 on the vid. (14k)
It's a wide range for gold, but it's worth all of the trash you dig.
