I did not receive any spam private messages. What type of spam, advertising or just random garbage?

I'm not sure how to delete private messages without opening. I think that if you click on "Inbox" there may be a way

That is a very strange message:dontknow:. I do not know if he was trying to PM someone else or if he just sent that to you for some weird reason but it sounds like it could be a troll. Good luck, Have you tried clicking "Ignore Member" on his profile? I have never done it so I'm not sure what it does but it is worth a try. I have only seen one post by him on here, just search his username in the search bar at the top of this page and you will see it.

Coinman123,

Yea.. I checked the post and his profile. I think the "member" is a troll also. I tried clicking inbox, seem to get nowhere with that.

I don't think ignore gets rid of the PM. I don't care enough on the open forum to ignore someone, but I don't care for junk in my inbox.:laughing7:

In the in box there is a little empty box on the right, I click on that, then scroll down the page, there is another spot to click on"selected messages" that opens and gives options, one is delete. Click on delete, then click on proceed.

That's how I can do it without opening it.

I haven't gotten any spam on Tnet, My personal Email was Hyjacked not long ago and junk Emails went out to everyone on my contact list in my name. I think that's completely different though.

Thanks nitric!

Been here a hundred years it seems, never had a message that I thought needed to go away. Learn a little something everyday!

there is, just open the PM, you can't get a computer virus from a PM. OPen the message then click the button to report it.

You can report spam in a PM, it's the same as reporting a post on a thread. Luckily I have never needed to click "Report Private Message"

I think other people had it happen. People are commenting about the "Philippine Treasure Scam" on here somewhere else in the forum. I do not know if it is related but it may be. On his only post he was talking about some treasure symbols on some birdbath in the Philippines, I think he wants people to look for treasure there for some reason. The message that Dave got about confirming a site may mean that he is saying that it is confirmed there is treasure in that site. I think he wants people to come hunt for "treasure" over there for some reason. If some people have not already figured it out, you should stay away, common sense people!

JUST A GUESS!!

I have not gotten a PM by him and I do not know rather to feel left out or happy:laughing7:.

Maybe it was a future Dave44 sending a message to the past! Dave44 you might have just erased a very important warning!!
Skynet sounds like something that gets thrown from a drone! :laughing7:

It is never good to throw a Tnet member out of a drone, no matter how many weird Private Messages they leave!!

It is if our future selves are harassing us with future messages about skynets being thrown from drones.:icon_scratch: Maybe, we are illegals in the future, but are legal now! We would just be helping our legal selves become illegal. :icon_scratch:

We can't just have illegals running around in the future! These are very important things to consider and not just be deleted and overlooked!!:tongue3:

But if we're legal now but illegal in the future this might not even be us! We might be them! So if we are them then we are illegal now which would make us legal then! But if that's the case and we are them then we are illegal then which makes us legal now!
