went beach hunting, low tide, 30 degrees and not much sun, don't know how long until spring here in Boston, but i plan to cry a lot between now and then. I wanted to try a Whites coinmaster on the black sand, Dennis at metaldetectors.com let me test out the machine, i was pleasantly surprised to find 45 cents and a toy car,i couda used a .ring ,but what the heck it was better than nothing.I was surprised the medium priced machine did so well.Goin out again today,gonna try a minelab this time.HH JIM
