Ive got someone on ignore. Not because of what they post, but because of the signature line.

The images in the signature line are so freaking large it causes all the posts in a thread to go into scroll mode.

Now, because of the one excessively large signature line, all posts default to having to scroll right to read them. What a pain in the butt.

So, if you just ignore that person, it fixes the problem. The remaining posts return to normal.

Go to your SETTINGS tab upper right- then EDIT IGNORE LIST on the left and then add their name to the list.

I've only used the ignore feature on one person here.

However, if I run into THAT thread, I'll surely ignore it as well. Just perhaps the perp might realize that and come to a positive ending (i.e. signature).

Yea, I've used the ignore feature only once also... I think the guy was living in a fantasy world with a huge ego.

I seldom use the ignore feature. But when I do, it is like a breath of fresh air!

I take it she's not on TNet John.

What ever I do on here is usually by sheer accident. :laughing7:

Yeah, it would be nice if the signature line was restricted to *GASP* a few lines of text :BangHead: Some the extreme signature posters are extremely aggravating and I read the forum on a laptop. I would probably just give up if I had to wade through them with a phone app.

In the General Settings, there is an option to not show signatures.
Don't know if it reduces the size of the box though.

I hear ya John.... I tried the mute button on my DirecTV remote. That doesn't work either. Somehow she overrides it every time.

And no MBB... My wife does not use Tnet (thank God)... Brad

I also found sending a polite pm fixed the problem quickly.

I tried that once, then got blasted for telling other people what to do, who do I think I am, mind my own business, I'm an idiot and just don't believe (insert rant here) the cause that their signature supports...

Easier to just ignore them.

Yes, it reduces the box size, but you loose everyone's signatures, and I actually like to see them.

It's a nice snapshot to the person you are reading about.

By reading your signature I learned that I shouldn't buy a painted horse.

Thanks for the tip. This just happened to me within the last few days and it was a real pain in the butt.

I use the 'Ignore Feature' to block posts of a certain individual, however what about 'Ignore Feature' for PM's?
