I've been thinking of getting one glad to know there are cheap crap from china as always by USA!!!!!!

Skeeter...check your scorecard. Out of 20 comments on the thread(besides yours), there is 1 negative,9 positive, and 10 that are sorta neutral in that they speak about care, maintenance, etc.

The comment about "cheap crap from China" was a guess by someone. If your thinking about a digger...youd be foolish not to be considering this one.

I have two Lesche tools.
A shovel and a hand digger. Neither has been sharpened or will be. Both work as new after many outings.
Peace ✌

I've had an 18" Lesche Samson T-handle for 12 hard months including hacking through frozen ground. Never had a problem or a bend and I have hauled on it with full strength.... I can bench 300lbs...

Best shovels out there!

I wonder what in the world could someone do to break a lesche. I've broke every digger I've tried, some the first day. But I can't even bend the lesche and I'm 6foot 7 and 300 pounds.

You guys must be weak. I have only had my 31" ball handle since late last fall/early winter and already bent it[emoji52]

Dang you guys are rough on equipment! What does the detector look like? I have a "Lesche" and a 31" T-handle Sampson and have dug thousands of holes. They still look like they are virtually new. I have filed the Sampsons point a little to resharpen it but other than that it has been very tough. I will admit I don't use the Lesche much since GAPmetals told me about Treasure Wises tools. I guess they don't cut plugs but try and lever the target out in one big, angled pry?

People who don't bend Lesche's. ;-)

I've dug a LOT of hole in fields. Four feet deep and 8" around. ;-)

First hole should be a plug whether you're goin' for China or not. You're not going to "pop" a target with a shovel so you might as well start small and open it out and deeper as necessary. You shovels will last longer, too.

'Cmon. Fess up. You tried to lever out a rock, didncha?

Nope. It was frozen ground. You won't catch me home watching Oprah because it is too cold out.
