NE Arizona Camping/MDing/Gold Panning Advice Needed

We've had so much rain the last 2 weeks here in SW Colorado we're ready to get away. We'd like to find a good location in NE Arizona to park our 5th whhel camper and do some detecting and also a little detecting/panning for gold. We would like to boon dock out where it's quiet rather than pay at a RV park. And ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was told that most of the land was all ready least or owned and that you had to join the gold prospectors association or pay some gold club to go on there land. I can't help you on this so check out this site.
Maybe someone will help you out.
