I was going through some old threads I started last year looking for a pic and one of them (the entire thread) is gone!

The link exists and shows up on a Google search but comes up completely blank.
Has this happened to anyone else?? Is there a reason this happens??

What Gives??

Here's the link:

I have no clue. All of my others seem to be there.

Any thoughts or answers are greatly appreciated.

So, any explanations or did they just vanish into the black hole of cyberspace??

It's just really strange that the links still exist.

The upside is, my thread didn't have any great pics. In fact I used a stock pic of the detector I was discussing in the thread. Even so, I wish it still existed.
Also, I hope I (or anyone else) do not lose any more threads. There are lots'a good memories in those threads.

I just checked the internet way back machine and they don't have it either.

I got the page that says "Hrm. as if even they are surprised".

I believe something fishy is goin' one around here.

The problem is the " ' " in the title we have reported it to admins... Any titles with " ' " in it are having issues...

I have no problem going to the thread using my phone and tablet using android, thread is still there...

Cool. It's good to know it still exists. I tried to access it from my laptop and wifi connection and no dice.

Thanks for checking it for me. I appreciate it.

Don't know how far back, I am editing ones reported or as I find them. Some members are trying to put smilies in the title
typing in smilies in title like ;>) or :>) is causing problems..

Finding titles like this "Found '40s' coins" and " Check this find: " these are causing issues too..
